Mom and Dad love to travel, and Riley is all ready to join the the next road trip. They came in for his Watch Me Grow session and we celebrated sitting up in style.

Happy to take over
Seriously, give me the camera. You’ve done plenty of pictures of me, now its time for me to take some of you.
Look, Mom, no hands!
I finally had the pleasure to meet this 6 month old cutie last week. His mom was so patient with me when I had to call and let her know one of my birth clients was in labor; she said no problem we can move it to next week. And, although it was only 4 days later, look at what this big boy can do now — he is sitting up all on his own!!! It was so exciting to help capture a milestone that mom & dad will be able to treasure forever. Granted, mom did stay close by at all times but I believe he was able to hold his own for at least a couple of minutes. Between the excitement of him sitting up, those rosy red cheeks and those cute chubby rolls ~ ah, I was in heaven!
p.s. Rae, you guessed right, it was a boy!
Trendsetter
Miss C has got to be the cutest fashion diva ~ and I must go shopping with her Mom (and Aunt) to see where she picks up these cute clothes. Isn’t that hat to just die for?
And to those of you blog stalkers, sorry I haven’t been updating things very often, it seems the end of the year gets quite busy for photographers 😉
At six months she makes us work
Sometimes you just can help but fall in love… and miss p was no exception to that rule! At 6 months this little cutie made all of us work for those smiles, but it was well worth it. you can almost hear her giggle just looking at the picture.

from newborn to little girl so fast
my little girl is now four! did you hear that?? she’s four! man how time has flown…it was just yesterday that i held her tiny little finger in mine for the first time and now she is four. i love you baby girl!
special moments ~ baptism photos
As a photographer i am often in the position to share in the moments that make up a lifetime of memories…the expectation of a new addition to the family, the birth of a baby, a birthday celebration, an engagement, graduation, a family photo shoot ~ and this little guy is no exception with the celebration of his recent baptism.
His parents brought with him a couple of special items that will forever make these photos treasured ~ the bear was a gift from his grandmother that says a special prayer each time it is squeezed; the beautiful blanket lining the basket belonged to his mom when she was young; and he also has on a bracelet engraved with his name and baptismal date.
Next time you are looking through old family photos stop to think about the items surrounding the person… sometimes these special items, along with your memories of the moment, are captured on film. as someone that gets to share in these moments with each of the families i work with, thank you. I hope these photos along with your memories will be treasured forever.
