A beautiful morning with a beautiful mom-to-be.
A beautiful morning with a beautiful mom-to-be.
Look who I found in my studio garden! I love these wonderful Texas summer mornings that allow me to get outside and take these natural light portraits.
I drifted into a summer-nap under the hot shade of July, serenaded by a cicada lullaby, to drowsy-warm dreams of distant thunder.–Terri Guillemets
Two boys that is! Yep, first came C (big brother Caleb) and now comes D (little brother Daniel). If this first family photo with Caleb’s wrinkle-nosed smile doesn’t make you giggle then nothing will.
I’m looking forward to watching Daniel grow over the next year!
Say hello to Mr Handsome! The eyes, the hair, the lips…man, oh man, he is going to break hearts and he is only 6 weeks old.
And you can’t ignore that huge smile. Gotta love it <3
When mom sent me an email to say baby number 3 was on the way I was so thrilled for them THEN she shared it was a girl and I was overjoyed! With two little boys already this new addition was sure to be welcomed with love from mom and dad plus a few {hundred} hugs from her big brothers. And her brothers did not disappoint when it came time for her newborn session. Dressed in pink shirts as presents from their little sister they were the cutest and sweeter than I could have ever imagined. This will definitely be a portrait to cherish ~
And I can’t help but share one from each of their newborn sessions. A special link to them all is the wooden box they are in is a family heirloom made by their great-grandfather. Dad had given mom a wedding day present in it so the theme continues for it to be used during life’s special moments. I love the idea!
As I am going through Mr A’s images from his newborn session to post along with one from his First Birthday Celebration it dawned on me that I had not posted mom’s maternity images. Say what? Yep, totally hidden away waiting for their extra special debut!
And now the wee one that mom carried until her exact due date!
This little guy was a month old when he came in for his newborn session. At one month, babies do not want to sleep and be patient little models for their photographer. At one month, the world (or at least a photography studio) is just too interesting to nap! When Dad called to schedule their newborn session he was already 2 weeks old, then add to that a booked schedule AND me leaving town to put you photographing a 4 week old. But, Dad said it was worth the wait to have me photograph their little one <3 Although it took a bit of work to get him asleep it was worth it. How can you just not love his gorgeous complexion? Makes me melt all over again seeing his images!
