I enjoy the whole baby and daddy interchange when working with newborns. In my family newborn portrait sessions, I find the most playful newborn photos come when the dad’s in the picture. Dads also seem to be the ones who end up buying the matching clothes! In a recent session, dad made sure baby started out supporting the right team – both came out in Red Sox garb.

I like the shot. I need something like that.
I don’t have a lot of daughter/father shots since I am the photographer and therefore most are of my wife and child but our next baby is due in about a month so I will have to teach her how to shoot a few!
