I was shooting this little guy’s Watch Me Grow four-month milestone session on Friday. He’s grown so fast. A sweet reminder for his mom of just how little he was before he got a Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years under his ~~belt~~ onesy. I’ll be posting his wonderful Valentine’s smile shortly.

Who says a girl can’t play football? Of course, when she does, she needs to add a touch of style. The beautiful future All-American is modelling the latest headgear by MissWishGarden (thanks Melissa). She might even be ready to take on one of my earlier newborn baby photo clients.

I could not wait to meet Mr L, I was fortunate enough to be the only person to know his name prior to his arrival thanks to the adorable momogrammed blanket his parents brought in for his session. So, of course, when they did come in we had to do a newborn photo with the sticker, “hello, my name is…” Needless to say, his parents and I thought we were so smart to think of it. Thanks to mom & dad for bringing your little man to see me!

Keep Me, Protect Me, Share Me

If you haven’t seen the Kodak video — Keep Me, Protect Me, Share Me – it is worth the time to take a look. I had originally posted this almost 2 years ago and during a recent class at Imaging USA the instructor shared it again. It makes me cry every time, so please have the tissues near by. Such a strong inspiration to take the time to print your photos and especially family photos. Even I need to take the time to do it.

I finally had the pleasure to meet this 6 month old cutie last week. His mom {maternity images here} was so patient with me when I had to call and let her know one of my birth clients was in labor; she said no problem we can move it to next week. And, although it was only 4 days later, look at what this big boy can do now — he is sitting up all on his own!!! It was so exciting to help capture a milestone that mom & dad will be able to treasure forever. Granted, mom did stay close by at all times but I believe he was able to hold his own for at least a couple of minutes. Between the excitement of him sitting up, those rosy red cheeks and those cute chubby rolls ~ ah, I was in heaven!

p.s. Rae, you guessed right, it was a boy!
