I finally had the pleasure to meet this 6 month old cutie last week. His mom {maternity images here} was so patient with me when I had to call and let her know one of my birth clients was in labor; she said no problem we can move it to next week. And, although it was only 4 days later, look at what this big boy can do now — he is sitting up all on his own!!! It was so exciting to help capture a milestone that mom & dad will be able to treasure forever. Granted, mom did stay close by at all times but I believe he was able to hold his own for at least a couple of minutes. Between the excitement of him sitting up, those rosy red cheeks and those cute chubby rolls ~ ah, I was in heaven!
p.s. Rae, you guessed right, it was a boy!
I can’t help but show a couple more from little D’s one year session…he is just the cutest little man!
I love getting to see the changes of little ones as they grow…and Mr. D did not disappoint. Last time he was in the studio he was interested in crawling, yet wanted to make sure Mom was nearby at all times. This time around, he was toddling around and had no fear. Also, those blue eyes with those incredible long eyelashes — how can you not love them? Thanks B for trusting me with Mr. D’s first year session, I look forward to chatting with you soon!
I just couldn’t resist showing more photos of Miss C, she is too cute and the pink tutu only adds to it. I keep wondering if they have them in my size…hmm, someday I’ll find out.

This little bundle could have gone home with me! He had such long fingers & toes, not to mention he was just too adorable. The boots belong to his Daddy; he wore them on their wedding day and when they did their maternity portraits as well.
Thanks K & N for bringing the little guy in, it was a great way to spend an afternoon.
Miss C has got to be the cutest fashion diva ~ and I must go shopping with her Mom (and Aunt) to see where she picks up these cute clothes. Isn’t that hat to just die for?

as you can see, he gets his incredible blue eyes from his beautiful mom. and he has the cutest laugh, one that you can’t help but giggle when you hear.

sometimes you just can help but fall in love…and miss p was no exception to that rule! at 6 months this little cutie made all of us work for those smiles, but it was well worth it. you can almost hear her giggle just looking at the picture.

it seems summer has been the time for me to get together with my college friends, and this shoot was no different. meet miss b ~ her mom and i were roommates our very first year in college at good ‘ol mcmurry university. it was so good to see carol and photograph her little angel, miss b, not to mention enjoy some great mexican food while in dallas. carol, thanks for letting me capture these moments of miss b, i can’t wait to see you again! l&m, sandy
